Abstract:In international projects, there is a high probability of force majeure events occurring due to the intertwined geographical environment, religious beliefs, folk culture and other factors in the country where the project is located, which has a greater impact on the project schedule. This paper analyses the impact of the New Crown epidemic on the progress of international projects, and takes a project of the Algerian Ministry of Defence Infrastructure Administration as an example to summarise the project''s risk management and schedule maintenance under the epidemic environment, and then proposes coping strategies, with the aim of helping Chinese enterprises engaged in international projects to reasonably cope with force majeure conditions and seize the opportunities between them.
