Abstract:Hoisting and lifting operations are an indispensable part of construction and industrial production, with their safety directly impacting the lives of workers, the integrity of equipment, and the overall security of the work area. This paper provides a detailed explanation of the fundamental knowledge, classification characteristics, potential risks, and primary causes of accidents in hoisting and lifting operations. It further explores key management aspects, analyzes common violations and case studies, and proposes a series of preventive measures. Research indicates that by strengthening the management of lifting machinery and rigging equipment, enhancing workers' safety awareness and operational skills, optimizing the work environment, improving safety management systems, and incorporating intelligent management technologies, the accident rate can be significantly reduced, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the safety management of hoisting and lifting operations, serving as a valuable reference for enhancing industry safety management standards.
