Based on the application of Press connection carbon steel tubes and fittings in the fire sprinkler system and the use of HDPE rainwater pipes in the building drainage system of a hospital project, this paper conducted a detailed analysis of quality risks and their root causes associated with the application of these pipeline connection technologies. Furthermore, it discussed critical considerations for relevant stakeholders - including the client, designers, contractors, supervisors, and manufacturers - in the practical implementation of new materials and construction techniques.
